Jawan killed in Pak firing in J&K's Rajouri  3 Months ago

JAMMU: An Army jawan was killed on Saturday when Pakistani troops targeted forward Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
Pakistani troops resorted to unprovoked firing in Sunderbani around 2pm.

In the exchange of fire, one army jawan sustained injuries, official sources said. They also said that the Indian side retaliated "strongly and effectively."

The injured soldier — Lance Naik Yogesh Muralidhar Bhadane, 28 — was admitted to a nearby hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.

Bhadane was a resident of Khalane village in Maharashtra's Dhule district and is survived by his wife.
